Ronco Calino

In 1996, Paolo Radici, an industrialist from Bergamo, was seeking a quiet retreat somewhere in the nearby hillside while still playing a key role in the family business, Radici Partecipazioni, when he came across an unexpected opportunity in Franciacorta.

An old estate with 10 hectares was up for sale, making it possible for Paolo to pursue his boyhood dream of growing grapes and being an actual wine producer. His Franciacorta is created exclusively with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Champagne and Burgundy clones. Paolo converted to organic viticulture in 2016, with that harvest being the first officially certified organic.
